Set between the mountains and the sea, with a wealth of history and culture, dating from medieval times, to the modernist movement of the late 19th century, and to the more recent ultra-modern development within the city, Barcelona has much to discover and enjoy. The main sightseeing areas of the city (covered by the red and blue route bus tours which run regularly throughout the day) are divided into three. The Montjuic area to the south-west of the city, with its open spaces, incorporates the site of the 1992 Olympic Stadium, while the Old Town to the south-east, with its narrow streets and wonderful Gothic architecture, is rapidly becoming the most trendy part of the city with its numerous new bars and boutiques. In contrast, Eixample, to the north-east is comprised of long straight boulevards with smart shops and hotels, and numerous examples of the superb Modernist architecture.

The apartments we have to offer are in two of these areas, with two luxurious apartments located in Eixample, close to the distinguished Passeig de Gracia Avenue and the famous ‘La Pedrera’, one of the most avant-garde of Gaudi’s works. Our other apartments are all in the Old Town, or more specifically in the up and coming area of El Born, near the beautiful 14th century Gothic church of ‘Santa Maria del Mar’. The character-filled streets here are full of tempting boutiques, tapas bars, cafes and restaurants. Close by is the historic tree-lined avenue of ‘Las Ramblas’, leading down to the sea, and filled with everything from flower stalls to tarot readers and street musicians. Just off ‘Las Ramblas’ is the famous ‘La Boqueria’ food market which, with its magnificent array of local produce, is an experience in itself to visit, and a must if you want to self-cater.

Being so centrally located, our apartments offer a unique opportunity to live and feel like a local within the city. Information is provided in each apartment to make your stay more enjoyable, such as where to find the best nearby restaurants and bars, pharmacy, newsagent etc. Maid service is either included or provided at extra charge. Babysitting can also be arranged. Through our local agents we are also able to help with booking tickets for events, as well as tourist guide or shopping guide services.
