Situated between Campo San Polo and Campo San Giacomo dall’Orio, this apartment is just a few minutes walk from the Rialto Bridge with its fascinating shops and stalls and open-air food market. Although easily accessible to the major sights of historic Venice, it is also an enclave of peace away from the major flow of tourists, surrounded by a small garden and within a quiet residential neighbourhood. Just a few steps away are small, local shops where you can purchase your fresh breakfast rolls, fruit and groceries, as well as several cafes and restaurants. Within the garden is a table and chairs for outdoor dining, as well as a tennis court and club house, which can be booked by guests.
San Polo 1, the largest of the apartments we have for rent here, occupies the ground and first floor (about 140 square metres), extending from the San Boldo canal alongside the living room, to the courtyard garden with unique private tennis court. It has its own independent entrance from the garden and enjoys a spacious open area suitable for outdoor dining right outside the living room. It is decorated and furnished very tastefully throughout, with Venetian terrazzo and parquet flooring, antique prints on the marmorino walls, and an elegant mixture of antique and modern furniture.
The many amenities include video door-phone, telephone, satellite TV, DVD and a central radio system with speakers in each room. There is also Wi-Fi internet access. Central heating or air conditioning (depending on the season) is included in the rental price. Use of the tennis court is charged at €15 per hour. Daily maid service, a cook for dinner, and cooking lessons, can all be arranged on request.
