This lovely home, dating from the late 19th century, is situated in the heart of Rome, a short drive or metro link away from Villa Pamphili, the Vatican Museums, Saint Peter and Castel Sant'Angelo. Surrounded by a 3 hectare park, it is very quiet and peaceful, and the Italian style garden, with its box hedges and pine trees, gives the property old world, romantic atmosphere. Furthermore there is a lovely swimming pool, open during the summer months. The property offers the combination of staying in an elegant country villa, with the historical centre of the city reachable in just a few minutes, either by private car or by public transport.
Recently refurbished throughout, accommodation is in two Junior suites and a Superior suite, each one with an individual style and colour, and furnished with antiques, in keeping with the period of the property. Breakfast, with organic food and all homemade, is served by the pool during spring and summer and in the warmth of the living room, heated by the fireplace, during the winter. On request it is possible to organize brunches or special dinners.
Your stay can be organized in advance to include excursions with expert tour guides, to discover the artistic treasures of Rome, and also out of town itineraries to taste typical food and wine of the Lazio region. The villa can be rented with all three bedrooms to one group of six people, or as individual bedrooms for a couple. Amenities include 24-hour concierge service, safe, satellite TV and wi-fi internet access. Breakfast is included, and bar and room service, and laundry service, are charged extra. The property is also suitable for special events either around the pool area or, for receptions, the ground floor drawing rooms are also at guests’ disposal. There is also car parking space for up to 70 cars.
