This impressive 17th century Florentine building sits right in Piazza Duomo, with magnificent views of the side of the Duomo from all its front apartments. Beautifully renovated in 2007, and retaining the original elegant style with high ceilings and parquet floors, each apartment is spacious and light and decorated in cream and white, embellished with fine stucco work. The furnishings are in soft cream and gold brocade.
The apartments are all large studios, some of which are interconnecting to provide accommodation for up to 4 – 6 people. There is also one ‘family room’ with a double bed, bathroom and kitchen downstairs, and a mezzanine level with double sofa-bed and additional bathroom. The beds are all king-size doubles and there is also a double sofa-bed in the sitting areas. In addition, each studio has a small dining table, and a kitchen corner, hidden behind large doors, and equipped with a hot plate, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. A basket of breakfast provisions is delivered to the apartment each morning. The luxury bathrooms have bathtubs and/or showers. The apartments are also equipped with air conditioning/heating, safety deposit box, satellite TV, DVD, CD player and free ADSL internet connection.
The building has a lift, and in addition there is a small furnished roof terrace, with coffee machine, which guests are welcome to use, to relax and enjoy the views. Guests can also use the library, where there is also a coffee machine. The main monuments and museums, the most exclusive boutiques and a great choice of restaurants and cafés, are within a short walk. A garage service is available for guests upon request.
